National Hemophilia Foundations Annual Bleeding Disorders Conference
NHF’s Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of the bleeding disorders community in the United States, with more than 2,500 guests attending. It is unique in bringing together not only patients and their families, but healthcare providers, industry representatives, chapter staff and volunteers.
The conference offers individual tracks for consumers and new family members on everything from women’s health concerns to sports participation for children and issues of aging. For our chapter leaders, there is a track ensuring that they receive the training and support they need to go back to their communities and run effective local chapters. Our healthcare providers follow individual tracks for nurses, physical therapists and social workers. Further, the two-day Medical Track for Physicians and Researchers provides essential updates on clinical trials and treatments, with a special plenary this year on inhibitors. Please visit www.hemophilia.org for more information.
